Snapshot of NSE IPO
NSE (National Stock Exchange of India Limited) IPO is the most awaited Mainboard IPO open for subscription from September 17, 2026 to September 21, 2026, with the anchor book opening for one day on September 16, 2026.
It is a 100% book-built offer comprising entirely of an Offer for Sale of up to 12,64,36,650 equity shares of face value ₹1 each.
The NSE shares will list on the BSE only. A stock exchange cannot list its own shares on its own platform, because it acts as the first-level regulator over securities traded on it. For the same reason, BSE Limited listed its own shares on the NSE in 2017.
How Can I Check the NSE IPO Allotment Status on BSE & Registrar?
Once the NSE IPO allotment is finalised, you can check your allotment status on the BSE website, the Registrar's portal (MUFG Intime), or through their trading platform.
Because this issue is listed on the BSE only, the allotment check is expected to run through the BSE portal rather than the NSE portal, unlike other mainboard issues. The exchange notice accompanying the issue will confirm the applicable route.

What If I Get the Allotment of an NSE IPO?
Because the IPO applications are made through ASBA, the application amount is blocked rather than debited. If no NSE shares are allotted, the lien is released, and the amount is released back to the investors on the refund date.
Partial allotment is also possible, particularly in the non-institutional category, where allotment is proportionate. Only the value of the NSE IPO shares allotted is debited, while the balance is released.
