BSE Revises Price Bands for 16 Scrips, Effective August 12, 2026

BSE Revises Price Bands for 16 Scrips, Effective August 12, 2026

The BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) has notified trading members of revisions to the applicable price bands for 16 listed scrips in the Equity segment. The change, issued via Notice No. 20260811-38 by the exchange's Department of Surveillance and Supervision (DOSS), takes effect from August 12, 2026.

Price bands, also known as circuit filters, cap the maximum percentage by which a stock's price can move, up or down, in a single trading session. Exchanges periodically review and adjust these bands based on factors such as trading volumes, volatility, and surveillance considerations, in order to maintain orderly trading and curb excessive speculation.

According to the notice, categorized under "Changes in Price Band" and falling under the Trading category, the revised bands for the affected companies are as follows:

Revised to 2% price band:

Gourmet Gateway India Ltd (Scrip Code: 506134)
Neelkanth Rockminerals Ltd (531049)
Ramgopal Polytex Ltd (514223)
Sadhana Nitro Chem Ltd (506642)

Svam Software Ltd (523722)
Zenith Exports Ltd (512553)

Revised to 20% price band:

Shree Balaji (Mala) Textiles Ltd (544835)

The notice carried no additional attachments and was addressed directly to trading members, who are required to update their systems and trading strategies to reflect the new circuit limits from Tuesday's session onward.

Price band revisions of this nature are routine surveillance measures undertaken by BSE to ensure fair and transparent price discovery, particularly for small and mid-cap counters that can be prone to sharp price swings.

Investors and traders holding positions in any of the 16 scrips listed above are advised to take note of the revised limits, as they directly affect the maximum permissible intraday price movement for these stocks going forward.

Market participants can refer to the official notice (No. 20260811-38, dated August 11, 2026) on the BSE website for further details.
